2021 MLK Information

Parade Information for the band

• Parade Date: Saturday, January 15, 2022, parade kickoff is at 11 AM
• Parade Length: 1.4 miles
• Apparel: Athletic Shorts, KHS Band T-Shirt,  Black Tennis Shoes. THE BAND WILL BE WEARING UNIFORMS
• Call Time/Drop-off: 9AM to get instruments and warmup @ Staging Area
• Staging Area: Kathleen Road & 14th Street (Large Field) (Map)
• Line Up Start: 9:00 AM (Image)
• Parade Route: The parade begins at Providence and West 14th Street and ends at MLK Avenue & 2^nd Street. View Route
• After Parade: Students will be fed lunch at the Coleman-Bush Building, 1104 Martin L King Jr Ave (Map)
• Pickup Area: All parade participants should be picked up at one of two options:
  1. The end of the parade route Coleman-Bush Building (Map)
  2. Walk back with the staff to the Staging Area  (Map)
