We are excited to announce a new chapter for the KHS band program—this year marks the first season of the KHS Majorettes Team! Leading our team is Mrs. Holbert, a seasoned coach with a background in twirling and dance.
Since starting her journey in 1982, Mrs. Holbert has not only competed but excelled, securing 6 state and 14 national titles in baton and team events. With a coaching career beginning in the early 1990s, she has led her teams to victory at both the state and national levels. She and her teams have preformed have the Citrus Bowl, WDW, the Grand Ol Opry, Cedar Point, WVU, OU, and many other local events.
She is also a dedicated Health Science teacher at Kathleen High School, Mrs. Holbert combines her passion for teaching with her love for performing arts. She is especially excited to work with our new majorettes team, bringing enthusiasm, expertise, a commitment to excellence and school spirit.
